1. Who We Are

Comfort Chair Malta Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") designs and manufactures handmade chairs and premium furniture. All items are custom-made to order at our workshop in Malta.

2. How Ordering Works

Important: Browsing our website and submitting an order request does NOT create a binding contract or charge your payment method.

The order process works as follows:

1. You submit an order request through our website
2. Our support team contacts you via email within 24-48 hours
3. We confirm product details, customization, production time, and final price
4. You approve the order and provide payment
5. Production begins only after payment confirmation
6. We keep you updated throughout production and shipping

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are indicative. Final prices are confirmed before payment is collected. Prices include:

• Materials and craftsmanship
• Quality inspection
• Standard packaging

Shipping costs are calculated separately based on your location and are added at checkout.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets. We do not store payment card information.

4. Production Time

Because every chair is handmade to order:

• Standard production time: 3-6 weeks from payment confirmation
• Complex customizations may require longer
• Exact timelines are confirmed when you place your order
• Production time does NOT include shipping time

• We ship worldwide via trusted courier partners
• Shipping time: 5-15 business days depending on destination
• Tracking information provided when item ships
• Signature may be required on delivery

6. Cancellations

Before production starts: You may cancel free of charge anytime before production begins and before payment is processed.

After production starts: Because items are custom-made, cancellations after production begins are subject to a restocking fee covering materials and labor already invested. This is determined case-by-case and communicated at order confirmation.

8. Quality Guarantee

Every chair undergoes quality inspection before shipping. If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days with photos. We will arrange repair, replacement, or full refund at no extra cost.

9. Warranty

All chairs come with a 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage from improper care are not covered. Warranty claims require proof of purchase.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, and content on this website are owned by Comfort Chair Malta Ltd. and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Disputes will be resolved in Maltese courts, though we prefer to resolve issues amicably through customer support.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms. The "Effective Date" at the top shows when terms were last revised.
